Mission context
Preliminary analysis
Building a method to share knowledge at a corporate level is successful only if everyone agrees on the ideas that :
each employee is simultaneously producing and consuming knowledge
no one may be motivated to share its knowledge at a corporate level if one cant take any advantage of it, or if one has no visibility on the value it have for the enterprise as a all,
the ease of use of the knowledge system, its ability to provide precise answers and not to pile up non useful information are also key factors,
knowledge flows are part of a corporate environment where there is strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, all of them should be identified at first.
In addition to these well known reasons, there are many other real life key factors that we have identified, during knowledge management projects development for our customers. As a result, we believe that it is very important to start the preliminary analysis from users expectations, using a bottom-up approach, rather than forcing a top-down model.
Our vision
You should not expect someone to tell you about his expectations without knowing what you can bring him ! For instance, a system operator in a manufacturing plant may not be able to define its knowledge management needs. However, one can get very useful information simply when paying careful attention to what this operator says about his work, his problems, and the relationships with his co-workers.
Our services
What we do :
a corporate-wide bottom-up investigation, analyzing the real expectations of the users, the potential supports and resistances. We do so with our unique method ECOUTE 360.
Meetings with key managers and decision makers in order to identify companys next great challenges. And how these challenges can be anticipated and transformed into enterprise objectives, mobilizing internal competencies.
We identify existing initiatives, qualify them and bringing to them the visibility and the corporate recognition they deserve.
We also benchmark similar organizations (projects analysis, benchmark meetings)
These data serve as a basis for a brainstorming whose synthesis is used to elaborate the KM project funding draft.
